Steven Palmer

Steven Palmer began his Law Enforcement career in 2003 as a 911 Dispatcher for the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. That furthered his interest in Law Enforcement and led him to become a Full-time Deputy with Marion County and later a Police Officer with the Columbia Police Department and eventually the logistics officer and Emergency Management Officer. Palmer has served 2 terms as Vice President of the Marion County Search and Rescue Team and a Volunteer Firefighter with the Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Department. When CLETA was founded, Palmer joined the staff as the logistics officer. He continues to support the staff, cadets, and officers that select CLETA for their training needs.
