Clint McMurry

Clint McMurry is a Law Enforcement handgun, shotgun, rifle, and tactical Master Firearms Instructor with over 31 years of law enforcement experience. He is a State Certified Master Law Enforcement Instructor in defensive measures, tactical driving, physical fitness, firearms, CPR/First Aid, and response to an active shooter. A graduate of the prestigious FBI law enforcement firearms instructor academy located at Camp Smith, New York, Clint brings over 25 years of law enforcement training experience. He is the former police chief of the Columbia Police Department and the former deputy director of the Southern Regional Public Safety Institute. He served as training coordinator and deputy sheriff at the Lamar County Sheriff’s Office and was the lead firearms and tactics instructor for the Newark division of the Federal Air Marshal Service. Clint is now the Director of the Columbia Law Enforcement Training Academy and Owner of Tru-Point Tactical. He is also the President of APSO Global. He is married to Heather McMurry and is the proud father of 9-year-old twins, Cameron and Drew.
