Topics covered include equipment selection, advantages of using an RDS, training considerations, optic failure, and maintenance and care. This course is primarily based on shooting and the fundamentals of shooting with an RDS. The bulk of the time will be on the range shooting and learning technique.
This 24-hour instructor course is designed for the officer that desires the knowledge and ability to effectively employ an RDS on their duty pistol, the administration or training officer who wishes to evaluate and learn the system for possible implementation at their agency, or the experienced RDS user that seeks further training geared towards duty use.
This class is restricted to certified law enforcement, military, and security.

Equipment required: RDS-equipped duty pistol with a minimum of 3 mags, 750 rounds of ammunition, eye and ear protection, and a desire to learn and train.
